A decent performance from BFC yesterday with a skeleton squad under terrible conditions. The ground was hard, bobbly and very dusty and the opposition were young, fit, had great movement and had grown up playing on these surfaces. The 1-1 end result was credit to a lot of effort from everyone and there is no doubt we should have won the game quite easily given the amount of chances we created - perhaps we would have if we hadn't been thrown off the pitch 10 minutes before KO. The goal we did get was a great finish from Taichi on his 11's debut for BFC, probably put through by another quality ball from Carlos - there were a lot of them.
Highlight of the day though was surely listening to Kazu slag off one of their lads (he was all of 16) for being a "f*&king pussy" (excuse my French Mum, they made me....), though Calros soaping his balls under a water fountain after the game comes close.......oh the fun we had!
